Project Context

Why this engagement mattered

22 Bar & Lounge opened with a strong physical experience but no dedicated website. Guests needed one dependable place to understand the atmosphere, explore food and drink menus, find weekly entertainment, plan a private gathering, and get directions. The owners also needed a site they could continue updating as events and offerings changed.

Responsab began by shaping the full experience in a React prototype. That work established the visual language, page architecture, content hierarchy, responsive behavior, and conversion paths before the final Wix implementation. The site presents the venue as a polished downtown destination while keeping practical information such as menus, hours, reservations, events, press coverage, and contact details close at hand.

To move beyond a standard template build, we developed custom Wix components for an OpenTable reservation experience, editable event cards, and interactive cocktail and menu presentations. These components preserve the brand experience while giving the business more control over frequently changing content.

The result is a hospitality site that feels intentional and memorable while still doing the everyday work of helping guests decide, plan, reserve, and visit.

Before And After

What changed through the engagement

Before

  • The venue did not have a dedicated website at the start of the engagement
  • Menus, events, reservations, and venue information needed one consistent destination
  • The brand experience had to translate from the physical lounge to screens of every size
  • Frequently changing event content needed to remain manageable for the business

After

  • A live Wix site with clear paths to menus, events, reservations, and contact information
  • A cohesive visual system shaped through a high-fidelity React prototype
  • Custom Wix widgets for reservations, editable events, and interactive menu content
  • Responsive pages designed around both discovery and practical visit planning
Implementation Approach

How the work moved from strategy into execution

Organize the venue story, menus, entertainment, reservations, press, and contact needs

Step 2

Prototype the complete responsive experience in React before the Wix implementation

Step 3

Translate the approved design system and page architecture into an editor-friendly Wix site

Step 4

Build custom Wix components for the experiences that standard page elements could not support
